You will be involved helping and organizing many activities inclu ding games, challenges, handicrafts and team building exercises.

Hambleton Forum Mother & Toddler Group

The Hambleton Mother and Toddler group needs you! We are looking for an extra pair of hands to help us run the group including helping to greet parents/carers as they arrive, serving snacks and drinks and washing up afterwards. You will need to be available on a Thursday morning.

Youth Offending Panel

Volunteers are sought for the Youth Offenders Panel which is a way of dealing with young people who commit crime.  You must be over 21 for this volunteering post.  It is down to the Panel to agree a course of action with the young person who has committed an offence and been convicted by the courts for the first time.  After completing your training you and the panel members will talk to the young person, together with their parents or guardians and the victim to agree a tailor-made package aimed at repairing the harm done and to hopefully prevent further offending.

Learning Volunteers At Fountains Abbey

Learning is an important aspect of the Trust’s work.  Our Learning Officer is supported by a team of volunteers who help with activities and projects for schools. In particular we are looking for volunteers to help guide school parties on the estate, assist with costumed role play exercises and support in the delivery of art workshops.
